Passenger Bag

Passenger airbags are three-dimensional in shape. Individual numbers of reinforcements can be sewn onto the gas inlet and outlet openings and the openings are then cut out with a hot punching unit or a laser cutting system. Due to the shape of passenger airbags, a special sewing method must be used for the joining seam, which is sewn manually or with a perimeter stitching unit.
As an option, we also offer automatic systems for feeding in the airbag layers (for overlapping methods), tape feeders (top and bottom) and removal systems.
All the renowned air bag manufacturers worldwide use Keilmann Group systems, for example TRW, Takata, Key Safety, Delphi, Autoliv, Car Trim and the ITG Group Systems: KL100, FP100, KL110, KL120, KL121, KL 405 laser & hot punching unit
